The Role: 

• Work closely with Principals and Managers across a diverse client portfolio 

• Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for various entity types 

• Manage tax compliance obligations for business clients 

• Assist with tax planning and business advisory assignments 

• Communicate directly with clients and build strong professional relationships 

• Assist clients with KPI reporting, business performance and growth strategies 

• Identify opportunities to add value and improve client outcomes 

• Support and collaborate with junior team members where required 

About You: 

• 2–3+ years’ Australian public practice accounting experience 

• Degree qualified in Accounting, Commerce or similar 

• CA or CPA commenced or intending to commence 

• Strong understanding of Australian taxation principles 

• Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns 

• Exposure to cloud-based accounting systems including Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks 

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills 

• Proactive attitude with strong organisational skills and attention to detail 

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team 

• Genuine interest in long-term career development within public practice
