What your day could look like

As an Assistant Program Officer, you'll support initiatives that help healthcare professionals learn, grow and deliver great outcomes for regional communities. Working with a collaborative team, you'll help coordinate programs, strengthen workforce capability and contribute to projects that make a real difference.

Every day, you'll contribute by:

• Supporting workforce development initiatives that build capability across allied health teams.
• Coordinating program activities, events and stakeholder engagement to keep projects on track.
• Using data and reporting insights to monitor progress and support informed decisions.
• Building strong relationships that foster collaboration and continuous improvement.

• Experience supporting projects, programs or service delivery activities.
• Strong digital skills, including Microsoft Office and other business systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
• The ability to manage priorities, solve problems and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience supporting education, training or workforce development programs and/or experience in healthcare or the public sector.
