INTERMEDIATE TAX ACCOUNTANT – DARWIN CBD – NATIONAL ACCOUNTING & ADVISORY FIRM (JOB ID 1601)

This is an excellent opportunity for a Tax Accountant to join a Tax & Business Consulting division and work closely with experienced Managers and Partners on a diverse client portfolio while continuing to build your technical and advisory capability. 

The Role: 

• Prepare income tax returns, BAS and IAS for individuals and business entities  

• Prepare financial statements and supporting workpapers  

• Assist with business advisory and tax planning engagements  

• Build and maintain strong client relationships across a diverse portfolio  

• Support budgeting and forecasting activities  

• Work closely with Managers and Partners to deliver high-quality client outcomes  

• Develop your technical expertise across compliance and advisory work  

About You: 

• 1+ years’ experience in Australian public practice (tax/business services)  

• Degree qualified in Accounting (required)  

• CA or CPA qualified or currently progressing  

• Strong understanding of tax compliance and financial reporting  

• Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills  

• Ability to build trusted client and team relationships  

• Motivated to learn, grow and develop within advisory services
