SENIOR ACCOUNTANT – TOOWOOMBA/HYBRID – MID-SIZED ADVISORY FIRM – 60K-100K (JOB ID 1411)

Our client is a mid-sized accounting and advisory firm located in Toowoomba, providing a broad range of services including accounting, taxation, business advisory and compliance for local businesses and private clients. They are known for their supportive culture, client-focused approach and commitment to developing their team. 

The Role: 

• Prepare management reports, financial statements, tax returns and BAS for a diverse client base 

• Provide business and taxation advice, including implementing effective tax strategies 

• Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor 

• Liaise with statutory authorities on behalf of clients 

• Work directly with senior staff to support business and advisory initiatives 

• Contribute to a high-performing, client-focused team 

About You: 

• 4+ years experience 

• CPA or CA qualified 

• Previous experience in public practice accounting (desirable but not essential) 

• Proficient with Xero, MYOB or Reckon accounting software 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Positive, professional and proactive approach 

• Enjoys working directly with clients and delivering practical solutions
