Senior Accountant/Manager

We are an award-winning tax accounting firm that has recently experienced an exciting period of growth and expansion. Our accounting firm provides tax advice, business services and solutions to our valued and versatile client base both domestically and abroad.

We are seeking the enthusiastic Senior, Intermediate to join our warm and friendly team. This dynamic role will require you to provide exceptional service across all facets of our accounting requirements and will suit an adaptable and highly motivated individual who has a genuine passion for accounts.

Job responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of financial statements

• Preparation of tax returns for all type of entities including SMSF returns

• BAS, FBT, CGT, Payroll Tax reports

• Reconciliation of wages & preparation of group certificates

• Conducting audits

• Providing tax planning advice

• Meetings with clients

Skills and experience for the successful candidate:

• 2- 5 years' experience working in an Australian accounting firm

• Intermediate level candidates must have a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in an Australian accounting firm

• Extensive knowledge of tax compliance

• Experience with Handisoft, MYOB, XERO, QuickBooks, BGL CAS & Cash Flow Manager essential

• Any other accounting software knowledge highly desirable

• Professional membership with CPA, CA and IPA is preferable

• Exceptional organisational skills – ability to prioritise, take initiative and work autonomously

• Team player willing to contribute to business objectives and goals in a dynamic business

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Adaptable and flexible working style

• Attention to detail, quality and timely execution of tasks

• Problem analysis and problem solving skills
