About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Internal Sales professional to join our team on a full-time basis at our Beverley office in South Australia. In this customer-facing role, you will be the driving force behind our sales efforts, managing inbound enquiries and proactively reaching out to customers to promote our products and services . You will be responsible for building strong customer relationships, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions that exceed expectations. This position is strategically important to Antec, as it directly contributes to revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inbound customer enquiries via the trade counter, telephone and email with professionalism and efficiency

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers through regular contact and follow-up

• Identify customer needs and provide product and service recommendations that align with their requirements

• Process customer orders accurately and ensure timely delivery of goods and services

• Achieve or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to team performance goals

• Document all customer interactions and maintain accurate records in the company system

• Provide exceptional customer service by resolving queries and concerns promptly and professionally

• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a seamless customer experience across all touchpoints

• Contribute to the development of sales strategies and participate in team meetings to share market insights

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in internal sales, customer service or a similar sales focused role.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with customers

• Goal-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to achieve or exceed sales targets

• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously

• Proficiency in using ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Patience, empathy and a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding customer service

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop new skills

• Previous experience in the fire protection, HVAC, plumbing industrial, construction or engineering industries would be desirable.
