This is an exciting opportunity to develop your accounting skills in a supportive, collaborative and growth-focused environment. As our Graduate Accountant, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to a broad range of accounting functions, work closely with experienced finance professionals, and play an important role in supporting the financial operations of our dealership.

 What your day might look like:

• Processing and reporting on vehicle sales & after-sales revenue
• Performing daily banking and processing bank statements
• Reconciling balance sheet accounts & investigating variances
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial statements
• Comparing actual financial results against budgets & forecasts, and assisting with variance analysis
• Assisting with year-end audit requirements
• Supporting the budgeting & forecasting process
• Providing day-to-day financial support to the Financial Controller and Dealership Accountant

 What we’re looking for:

• A completed or near-completed tertiary qualification in Accounting
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office and accounting software
• A desire to commence, or current enrolment in, the CPA or CA program
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• The ability to collaborate effectively within a team
