About the role
About Us:
Allambee is a leading provider of specialist therapeutic services for people impacted by sexual violence and/or domestic and family violence with over 30 years’ experience supporting individuals, children, young people, and families of the Peel region. Alongside our therapeutic programs, Allambee’s Women’s Health Service provides responsive gendered health services, combined with preventive interventions and health promotion activities to support improved long-term health outcomes for women.
About the Role
The Reception role provides reception and administration services to support the effective operation of all Allambee services. The Allambee Reception works in collaboration with the Peel Health Hub reception to welcome all clients of the Peel Health Hub by providing a professional, trauma informed response to client needs.
Allambee is seeking a part-time Receptionist to support the Administration team in our growing service. Key Responsibilities
Provide a safe, and welcoming environment for clients, service representatives and stakeholders both in person and on the phone.
Facilitate the flow of information to all avenues, efficiently and with appropriate consideration of client needs and community wellbeing.
Represent Allambee in a positive and professional manner in all interactions when liaising with service users, service providers, key stakeholders and the local community.
Maintain client and service data in accordance with organisational policy and procedures, legislative and reporting requirements, and contractual obligations.
Respond to diversity in a culturally sensitive and appropriate manner.
Selection Criteria
ESSENTIAL
Experience in an administration role with a high level of face to face and telephone contact with clients.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure trauma-informed and culturally safe responses to all clients, including those who may present in distress.
Sound organisational skills to schedule and prioritise work and manage time effectively.
Sound computing skills and proficiency in the use of technology including email, the internet and Microsoft office application.
Ability to work independently; demonstrate initiative; work effectively under pressure.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Commitment to Code of Conduct
HIGHLY REGARDED
Experience in a demanding, trauma informed work environment.
Certificate or diploma in business administration or equivalent
Knowledge of community resources or experience in community services.
Flexible approach to duties
To be a successful candidate, a current National Police Clearance (valid within one year) and a WA Working with Children Check (or equivalent) will be required.
