About the role

This is a full-time position based from Redbank with travel to various project sites as required. You will be a Multi-Skilled Civil Construction Worker confident operating machinery while also being willing and able to get involved in general civil and construction works on site.

Key responsibilities

• Operating excavators

• Operating skid steers

• General civil construction and site works

• Excavation, earthworks and site preparation

• Loading, moving and handling materials

• Assisting with general construction activities as required

• Completing daily pre-starts and basic equipment checks

• Working alongside trades, supervisors and other site personnel

• Maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship across all sites

About you

• Strong previous experience within civil construction

• Demonstrated experience operating excavators

• Demonstrated experience operating skid steers

• Must be flexible and willing to travel interstate for project work

• Comfortable working away from home when projects require

• Relevant plant tickets / competencies

• Construction White Card

• Current Australian driver's licence

• Ability to travel to different project sites as required

• Good understanding of WHS and site safety requirements

• A reliable and strong work ethic

• A hands-on attitude and willingness to assist wherever required on site

This role would suit an experienced civil construction worker who enjoys variety and is just as comfortable getting on the tools and working on site as they are operating an excavator or skid steer.
