As a Chef, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to our standards

• Assisting with menu development and daily specials

• Ensuring consistency, quality and presentation across all dishes

• Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering

• Managing food preservation and stock rotation to minimise waste

• Maintaining high standards of food preparation, handling and storage

• Assisting in the training and development of junior kitchen staff

• Supporting the overall kitchen operations and service flow

• Ensuring all food safety and health regulations are adhered to at all times

• Working collaboratively with the kitchen team to achieve operational goals

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (essential)

• Certificate IV in Kitchen Management (highly regarded)

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Chef with relevant qualifications, or 2–3 years of experience without formal qualifications

• Previous Italian cuisine experience is highly regarded

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment

• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills

• Hospitality Industry Award Level 2 classification
